• Likes bright light, with some full sun. A windowsill that get's morning sun is ideal. 
• Allow the soil to dry out in between waterings - watering can be stopped across winter. 
  
• Ensure good drainage.
• Non-toxic, but spikey! Still advisable to keep away from children/pets.
