Make a bold statement in your kitchen with this Magpie x Hornsea Jumbo Jar – Orange Cat. Featuring John Clappison’s iconic cat illustration, re-drawn from the Hornsea Museum archives, this hand-glazed stoneware jar is a perfect blend of retro design and everyday function.

Generously sized and finished with a matching gift box, it’s ideal for storing biscuits, coffee, sweets, or kitchen essentials. A true celebration of British mid-century style, this piece is as practical as it is collectible.

Part of Magpie’s official collaboration with Hornsea, the jar reimagines some of the pottery’s most celebrated patterns. Hornsea, founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson, became known worldwide for its ground-breaking ceramic designs before closing in 2000. Today, Magpie brings those designs back to life under official licence.
