Featured Artists

Here at Sprouts of Bristol, we love supporting small independent businesses. From the beginning, way before we even thought of the name for the business, we knew that UK artists would be a big part of our future. Below you will see a list of artists we have worked with, who's work we stock, or both.

About Little Paisley Designs
Created by Eleanor Longhurst of Little Paisley Designs from her studio in Bristol. Her designs feature quirky illustrations of British Wildlife, Flora & Fauna. Each product starts life as a hand-painted illustration. Working in predominantly watercolours and gouache paints, the artwork is then scanned in and assembled. All items are either handmade in Eleanors home studio or printed using British companies, then packaged and assembled by hand. Little Paisley Designs products are whimsical and colourful, with a playful nod to the traditional.

About Kara Does Colouring
Created by Kara Vallens of Kara Does Colouring from her studio in Devon. Her designs are bold, graphical illustrations that feature British wildlife and plants alongside cute depictions of things you see everyday (and sometimes ghosts). Kara is a graphic designer & illustrator, who *fun fact* owns around 217 pairs of snazzy socks. When she's not busy drinking coffee and scribbling away ideas in one of roughly 72 sketchbooks, she is usually found hanging out in her studio with her mate Milo the bunny or digging over the allotment.

About Gather by Jules
Jules creates a wide range of macrame from her home in beautiful North Wales. She focuses on using recycled, organic or found items and includes these in her designs. When shes not creating macrame hangers, she can often be found foraging, walking her Beagle Dylan or making a vegan feast.
