LEARN HOW TO: Gift Wrap Creatively
Ran by Amanda from Giftfrippery
Thursday 25th November - 6:30pm-8:30pm
This workshop will teach you how to get your gifts looking fabulous this Christmas, whilst still being eco-conscious. Take something that most of us have to do at Christmas time and turn it into a fun activity where you can unleash your creativity, find new ways to use bits and bobs around the house, and create gifts that will be remembered before they’re even unwrapped!
You’ll start with the basics of gift wrapping, and leave brimming full of ideas for more imaginative scenarios - and some tips for those awkwardly shaped gifts!
All wrapping materials will be provided - if you would like to bring a small gift that would fit into a 10x10x10cm box then please feel free to do so.
Why gift wrapping?
Not only does creative gift wrapping put some fun into what can be a chore - it creates a lasting impression on those who are receiving your gifts. It’s also eco-conscious, creating less waste at Christmas, using up bits you probably already have lying around, and potentially can be re-used again.
Why a workshop?
Workshops are an informal and fun way to learn a new skill, hang out with friends, and meet new people. Sprouts of Bristol can welcome you to our newly opened back room to hang out with some like-minded people and be surrounded by plants!
We want everyone to feel welcome and safe at our workshops - whilst masks are not mandatory in-store, the backroom is an enclosed space where you will be sitting with others for an extended period of time. Due to this, we would ask that all participants show an NHS COVID pass.
In a nutshell, this would mean you need to be double vaccinated, have had a positive PCR test within the past 180 days (but not currently isolating), or have had a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of the workshop - you can get more information on how to get an NHS Covid pass here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-covid-pass.
All workshops are bring your own tipple. Sprouts of Bristol will supply glassware and some nibbles, and will also provide free tea and coffee. Please arrive from 6pm, your workshop will start at 6:30pm and is likely to last 2 hours, but may overrun to 9pm if there is high participation, or we are having so much fun that no one wants to go home. No corkage will be charged. Max of 10 people per class.
10% off in-store at Sprouts of Bristol - available during and after the workshop.
