When Laura & Rob approached us to deck out their wedding venue with potted plants we jumped with excitement to get involved with a project like this. Their theme for the plants was cottage garden, with hints of romance and elegance.
We styled inside the gorgeous The Mount Without main room (just down the road from our shop) for the couples ceremony, whilst also placing some plants outside in the garden for cocktail hour after the reception. We then came back whilst they couple were with their guests and getting photographs taken and laised with their caterers and their wedding planner to flip over the room ready for the wedding breakfast. We filled the tables with foliage, potted plants, candles and made sure there was enough space for the banquet style starters to be served without removing the table decor. We also put some smaller roses downstairs in the crypts below to continue the theme down into the after party.
We picked a range of outdoor plants, including roses, hydragenas, heathers, grasses and beautifully fragrant thyme which filled the room with their aroma and paired this with olive branches and a collection of vintage brass candle holders the couple had collected.
