A cheerful and compact variety, Dahlia ‘Happy Days Bicolour’ produces a mass of single flowers in vivid pink with bright white tips, creating a two-tone effect that stands out beautifully against its deep, almost black foliage. Flowering over a long period from midsummer to autumn, this dahlia is ideal for pots, raised beds, or the front of sunny borders. Its compact size and vibrant colours make it a firm favourite for pollinators and gardeners alike.

Dahlia ‘Happy Days Bicolour’, commonly known as Bicolour Happy Days Dahlia, is part of the ‘Happy Days’ series – bred for compact growth, showy blooms, and richly coloured foliage.

Deadhead regularly to keep flowers coming. Cut back after the first frost, or lift and store tubers for winter.

Wildlife Value
Single, open blooms are excellent for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Positioning
Full sun preferred. Great for containers, borders, and pollinator-friendly garden designs.

Water
Keep soil consistently moist during the growing season. Water at the base to prevent fungal issues on leaves.

Well-drained, fertile soil is best. Enrich planting areas with compost or organic matter to boost growth.

Feed every 1–2 weeks from midsummer with a high-potash fertiliser to support flowering.

Pet-safe
Toxic if ingested – keep out of reach of pets and children.

Sprouts Top Tips
