A compact, free-flowering perennial, Salvia greggii ‘Mirage Pink’ is smothered in soft pink blooms from early summer right through to the first frosts. With aromatic foliage and a neat, bushy habit, it’s ideal for containers, borders, and gravel gardens. Drought-tolerant once established, this tough little salvia thrives in sunny spots and brings consistent colour and pollinator activity to the garden.
Salvia greggii ‘Mirage Pink’, commonly known as Autumn Sage, is prized for its long blooming period and ability to thrive in hot, dry conditions. Its fragrant foliage and nectar-rich flowers make it a magnet for bees and butterflies.

Water well during the first season to establish. Once established, water sparingly – prefers dry conditions over wet
Soil
Well-drained soil is essential – avoid heavy, clay-rich areas unless improved with grit. Tolerant of poor soils.
Food
Feed monthly in the growing season with a balanced fertiliser; avoid overfeeding, which can reduce flowering
Pet-safe

Sprouts Top Tips
Avoid cutting back too hard in autumn – instead, wait until spring to prune. This helps protect the plant from winter damage and supports better regrowth.
