This long-flowering trailing plant produces masses of soft apricot double blooms that resemble miniature roses, creating a romantic, cascading display throughout summer. Calibrachoa ‘Cabaret Double Apricot’ is perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and patio containers, where its trailing habit softens edges and adds layers of warm pastel colour. Flowering from late spring until the first frosts, it thrives in a sunny, sheltered position and performs beautifully in British summers with very little fuss.

Calibrachoa ‘Cabaret Double Apricot’, commonly known as Million Bells, is loved for its nonstop flowering and compact trailing growth. The fully double flowers feature delicate tones of apricot, peach, and soft pink, blending beautifully with other summer bedding plants and trailing foliage. Ideal for creating full, abundant baskets and containers, this easy-care variety keeps flowering without the need for constant deadheading.

Tender Perennial
Trailing, Basket Plant, Long Flowering

Flowers: Late Spring to First Frosts
Foliage: Spring to Autumn

Scientific Name
Calibrachoa ‘Cabaret Double Apricot’

Synonyms
Often sold simply as Calibrachoa or Million Bells

Common Name
Million Bells, Double Calibrachoa

Origin
Cultivated hybrid originating from South American Calibrachoa species

Pruning Tips
Trim back lightly in midsummer if plants become leggy to encourage fresh growth and another flush of flowers. Remove any damaged stems as needed.

Wildlife Value
The trumpet-shaped flowers can attract bees and other pollinating insects throughout summer.

Positioning
Best grown in full sun or light partial shade in hanging baskets, window boxes, containers, or raised planters. Prefers a sheltered position away from strong winds.

Water
Keep compost evenly moist during warmer weather, especially in baskets and containers which dry out quickly in summer. Avoid leaving plants sitting in waterlogged compost.

Soil
Prefers fertile, well-draining compost with plenty of organic matter. A peat-free basket or container compost works well.

Food
Feed every 1–2 weeks during the growing season with a high-potash liquid fertiliser to encourage continuous flowering.

Pet-safe
Generally considered non-toxic to pets, although ingestion may still cause mild stomach upset.

Sprouts Top Tips
Mix with trailing foliage plants or contrasting purple and white flowers for a full, layered basket display that keeps flowering right through summer.
