Origin
Native to South Africa, where it grows as a groundcover in dry, rocky environments with bright sun and low rainfall.
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light and can tolerate gentle direct sun. Too little light will cause the plant to become leggy, and the leaf shape may stretch. A sunny windowsill is ideal.
Water
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water deeply, then let all excess drain. Overwatering is a common cause of root rot – this plant stores moisture in its leaves and prefers drought conditions over soggy soil.
Humidity
Prefers low to average household humidity. No misting required.
Soil
