This semi-evergreen plant has colourful foliage and produces bright flowers in late spring to early summer. Hardy throughout most of the UK down to -15°C.

The striking, deep red foliage of this Euphorbia is very different to its spiky desert cousins! New foliage comes through the rich colour of red wine, maturing to deep green and purple shades as the plant grows. This dark colouring contrasts with the bright citrus yellow of the flowers, which bloom for several months. This plant is resistant to deer and many diseases that affect other Euphorbias, making it a good low-maintenance option for your garden; pick a bright spot with well-draining soil and watch the plant thrive!

No, this plant is toxic if eaten by pets and humans, and is an irritant in contact with skin.

Sprouts Top Tips
The key with this plant is ensuring the ideal positioning; once it has a spot with well-draining soil and plenty of sun, the best thing you can do is sit back and admire it! Just keep an eye in heavy rain in case the soil gets waterlogged.
