Aroids have taken the world by storm, perhaps the most sought after and adored family of plants- but they do come from humble beginnings! Monstera and Philodendron have been staples in green houses for many decades and the mix that they adore can be applied to almost every species in the blend. With thick roots, impressively beautiful foliage that is widely variable; we made sure to provide the very best peat free substrate for them.

Using a blend of: Coco Coir, Perlite, Bark, Coarse Pumice, Worm Castings, Zeolite, Activated Charcoal

This mix is beloved, tried and tested by thousands of aroid keepers, with their usually hemiepiphytic habit in mind, we are eager to provide even your most expensive and rare aroids with a seamless, perfectly made blend. The heavy presence of bark and pumice mean that the air craving roots will never go without. The addition of activated charcoal helps fend off any risk of rot from the occasional overwatering and keeps that risk away during the winter months when watering is pulled back. Honestly, there’s not much more to say other than have fun and get your hands dirty.

Ideal for: Monstera, Philodendron, Pothos and more!
