Hi, I’m Jessy
I started Sprouts after leaving my job as a graphic designer, completely burnt out from office life. I’d always loved plants – my third-year uni bedroom was packed full of them (though looking back, many were clinging on!). I still have the peace lily my nan gave me during those years – the only survivor of the lot.
Now, I feel like I’m living the dream. As a kid, I always said I’d open a garden centre, a craft café or a butterfly house – something green and creative. That early love of indie makers and beautiful design has stuck with me, and now I pour it into everything we do at Sprouts. My background in design gave me the skills, but plants have always been the passion.

Our Bristol Shop
You’ll find our bricks-and-mortar shop in Kingsdown, a leafy, residential corner of central Bristol – tucked between the BRI, Bristol Uni and the arts quarter near Stokes Croft.
In a past life, the shop was a fishmongers (and later, a chippy!). Now it’s a jungle of houseplants, handmade gifts, books, and botanical joy – all curated by our small but mighty team.
