We’ve always paid the living wage, and want to put people before profit. We’re proud now to be an accredited part of the Living Wage Foundation.

The majority of the UK’s houseplant stock comes from Holland, but we’re always trying to increase the amount of British Grown plants we offer and working on finding new nurseries and suppliers to give you more British grown options. 

Stoking UK artists and makers - small independent businesses working together makes us happy. We also buy wholesale rather than sale or return so that we take the risk on selling stock, not our makers.

We use recycled packaging where possible - we take great pride in our packaging and have a really good track record of getting your plants and other goodies to you safely, but you may find your packages don’t look brand new on the outside as we’ll re-use boxes and packaging materials wherever we can. Plus we’re always on the hunt for spare used bubble wrap, so please feel free to bring it to us in the shop if you’ve got any going!
