Our organic Mycorrhizal fungi are natural, plant-friendly and suitable for use on all plants. Within 4 weeks, root buddies create an entire secondary root system that will support a plant for its whole life.
DESCRIPTION
Many species of plants rely on the presence of mycorrhiza in their natural habitats. Mycorrhizal fungi create a microscopic secondary web-like root system within the soil. These beneficial microorganisms live in symbiosis with the roots and play a critical role in helping most of the Earth's plants survive and thrive in their environments.
HOW TO USE
Evenly sprinkle the suggested amount of granules around the roots of your plant. For every litre of compost, use 1 teaspoon (5g) of mycorrhiza granules.
It's as easy as that.
BENEFITS
Once established, root buddies will assist root development, improve drought tolerance, reduce the risk of disease, help produce more vigorous plants, and reduce repotting stress.
About For Peat's Sake!
For peat's sake! was set up by George, following 3 years of studying geography at university. During this time, a recurring theme of the relationship between the human need for resources and the decline of environmental health was made obvious. This lead to George finding out about peatlands, their importance to our planet and how they're treated.
Shocked by the continual destruction of peatlands for compost manufacturing, George thought it was vital to spread awareness about the damaging practice of peat harvesting and offer an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to peat-based composts!
Through the support and expertise of his family and friends, for peat's sake! took form and is now ready to supply all with a sustainable method of planting!
A lifestyle, gift, and plant shop, based in Bristol. Trying to make a difference to our customers, employees, suppliers, and community by following the three P’s of business; people, planet, profit; in that order.

The product had slight wear to it but the seller contacted me to let me know if I still wanted to proceed. I was happy to do so and glad I did as I do not notice it. And I've got a happy plant!! 😊
Just what I was looking for. The coir moss pole gives my monstera some much-needed support and allows it to grow upwards. I've had the pole for two weeks and the plant is already looking much happier. Thanks!
