Everyone needs a lovely leafy palm and the Areca Palm is a great investment. These specimens are table-top size now but if looked after they will grow 15-25cm a year and can get up to a towering 2m tall!
These plants are fairly easy to care for and don't have any particularly odd requirements but they don't handle drought well so make sure to keep up with the watering keeping the soil lightly moist throughout the summer.

- Likes very bright, indirect light.
- Keep the soil consistently moist in the summer - allow top layer of soil to dry in winter
- Mist occasionally
- May benefit from plant feed in summer months
