Checking local availability

  • Water when the top inch of soil is dry.
  • Try to water directly into the soil to avoid rot - if you're unsure or it's difficult to get to the soil, try watering from the bottom by placing the pot in some water for around 30 minutes to suck up what it needs.
  • Likes medium to bright indirect light.
  • Likes high humidity but will tolerate low humidity - mist lightly occasionally.
  • If the new growth starts to get a bit leggy, prune and pinch off stem tips to encourage bushier growth.
  • When re-potting use fast-draining soil.
  • Toxic.
