Every plant is carefully packed by our small, plant-loving Bristol team using protective, mostly plastic-free packaging.

Occasionally, you may find reused bubble wrap – this has been donated to us, and we encourage you to reuse it too.

Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 2–4 working days. We may occasionally delay dispatch during periods of extreme weather to protect your plants. We always prioritise plant health over speed of delivery.


Delivery is £4.99 for any number of items, or free on orders over £60. We deliver across the UK only.

We also offer local, bike-powered delivery in Bristol for £4.99 via Pedal Collective, a gentler option for plants and the planet.

Celebrate iconic mid-century design with the Magpie x Hornsea Medium Planty in Repeat Flower. This timeless floral motif was originally drawn by Hornsea Design Director John Clappison around 1967 and has been lovingly redrawn by Magpie from the Hornsea Museum archives. Using authentic Hornsea colours of the era, the design has been reimagined as a stackable ceramic planter, hand-glazed so each piece is beautifully unique.

Measuring 12 cm tall, this versatile stoneware pot is perfect for medium-sized houseplants and comes gift-boxed in a matching design, making it an ideal present for plant and design lovers alike. Best used with plants kept in their plastic nursery pots for easy watering and care.

Hornsea Potteries, founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson, became renowned for their innovative ceramic designs until their closure in 2000. Today, Magpie continues the story, bringing Hornsea’s classic patterns back to life under official licence.
