This planter does not have drainage holes but can be used in addition to a plastic planter. All pots are handmade and each one will differ slightly in size and glaze effect.
Ceramics are fired to 1260 degrees and therefore can be microwaved or washed in a dishwasher.
How it is made All ceramics is handmade by Charlotte Manser in her pottery studio in Swindon, Wiltshire. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and is carefully formed over two days. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in my kiln. She then mixes her glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
Had to grab this one as the pastel green was so pretty. There is a water resivour at the bottom to stop plants sitting in water so its perfect for orchids but at the moment I'm using it for another plant.
I bought a 'medium' and what arrived was a very generously sized plant which I was very happy with . Plant was in good condition, and was very carefully wrapped for shipping.
