This primrose's burgundy petals are laced with gold, blooming above a pillow of mid-green foliage. Hardy throughout the UK down to -20°C.
A splash of colour at the gloomiest time of year, this primrose starts to bloom before winter has properly finished. Gold-highlighted burgundy petals open like tiny trumpets above cushions of bright green foliage, evergreen leaves which propel this plant through the winter. Add these early blooms to your garden for yourself and all your local wildlife to enjoy - early-season pollen is always valuable for those pollinators who brave the last gasp of winter, and a bit of brightness will bring you straight into spring.
