Caladium ‘Roze’ features delicate pastel pink leaves accented with green edges and subtle red veining. This softer, more romantic variety brings a gentle splash of colour indoors and works beautifully in grouped displays or shaded summer planters outdoors.

Scientific Name
Caladium bicolor ‘Roze’ (two-coloured keladi plant, cultivar: Roze)

Reclassification or Naming History
Now grouped under Caladium bicolor with other ornamental cultivars.

Common Name(s)
Elephant Ear, Angel Wings, Pink Caladium

Origin
Cultivated from species native to the Amazon Basin in South America.

Humidity
Enjoys high humidity. Mist, use a pebble tray, or place near a humidifier to keep foliage fresh.

Soil
Moisture-retentive but free-draining soil with added organic matter. Repot every 2–3 years if needed.

Food
Feed every 4 waters in the growing season, reducing to every 6 in autumn and winter.

Temperature
Best kept at 18–30°C. Protect from temperatures under 10°C.

Pet-safe
No – toxic to pets and humans if ingested.

Sprouts Top Tips
‘Roze’ is softer in tone than many caladiums, making it ideal for pairing with bold varieties like ‘Scarlet Flame’. Store tubers dry and dark over winter for a fresh flush of pink foliage in spring.
