• Likes direct light, can cope with partial shade but this will cause the leaves to go a darker green
• Although it likes direct light be careful of scorching if it gets very hot
• Will need feeding in the spring/summer
• Likes warm temperatures
  
• Quite thirsty - water when the top couple of inches of soil are dry but this will be quite often in the summer
• Likes high humidity - mist regularly
