Has your houseplant outgrown its pot, become root-bound or simply need a fresh start? Bring it to Sprouts and let our team take care of the messy part.

We’ll professionally repot your plant using our favourite premium products, including Soil Ninja, For Peat’s Sake and Liquid Gold Leaf, giving your plant the very best chance to settle in and thrive.

Simply bring your plant and the planter you’d like it repotted into, and we’ll do the rest. As a general guide, we recommend increasing your pot size by one or two inches each time you repot.

Looking for a lower-maintenance option? We can also convert suitable plants into self-watering planters using Soil Ninja’s semi-hydro mix for an additional charge.

Repotting Prices

Prices are based on your plant’s current nursery pot size and include premium substrate and basic repotting.

XS – Up to 8cm – From £4
S – 9–11cm – From £6
M – 12–16cm – From £9
L – 17–22cm – From £15
XL – 23–29cm – From £25
XXL – 30–35cm – From £50
XXXL – 36cm+ – Quote on request

Additional Services

Additional charges may apply for:

• Specialist substrate mixes
• Moss poles and supports
• Semi-hydro conversions
• Full soil replacement
• Particularly large or root-bound plants

We’ll always discuss any additional work with you before we get started.

How It Works

Repotting is carried out behind the scenes by our team, so plants will need to be left with us for a short time while the work is completed.

Once your plant is ready, we’ll let you know and ask that it is collected within one working day.

Please note that very large plants can only be repotted at our Bedminster HQ.

Home Visits & Large Plant Care

Don’t fancy transporting your giant Monstera across Bristol?

We also offer home visits for large, awkward or sentimental plants.

Home visits from £70, including travel within BS1–BS8 and up to one hour on site. Additional time is charged at £50 per hour, plus materials and any applicable travel charges.
