Water
Water moderately during the growing season, keeping the soil moist but well-drained. Avoid overwatering to prevent bulb rot.
Soil
Prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Avoid planting in heavy, waterlogged soils.
Food
Apply a balanced fertiliser at planting and again in early spring as growth begins to support flowering and bulb development.
Pet-safe
Toxic if ingested, so plant in areas away from pets and children.
Sprouts Top Tips
For the best effect, plant in groups of 5–10 bulbs. Hyacinthus multiflora ‘Pink Pearl’ is especially effective in containers where its fragrance and delicate blooms can be enjoyed up close. Pair with other spring bulbs like tulips or crocuses for a vibrant layered display.
