Every plant is carefully packed by our small, plant-loving Bristol team using protective, mostly plastic-free packaging.

Occasionally, you may find reused bubble wrap – this has been donated to us, and we encourage you to reuse it too.

Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 2–4 working days. We may occasionally delay dispatch during periods of extreme weather to protect your plants. We always prioritise plant health over speed of delivery.


Delivery is £4.99 for any number of items, or free on orders over £60. We deliver across the UK only.

We also offer local, bike-powered delivery in Bristol for £4.99 via Pedal Collective, a gentler option for plants and the planet.

Light
Likes bright but indirect light; the heat of the direct sun can cause bleaching or scorching.

Water
Allow the top third of the soil to dry out in between waterings. Dropping needles is a common symptom of under-watering while yellowing of the foliage points to over-watering.

Humidity
Normal household humidity is perfect for this plant! Just ensure it's not too close to a radiator as this can cause scorching.

Soil
Likes loamy soil; a mix of sand, silt and clay will create the right conditions. Repot every two years; when repotting, hydrate 24 hours in advance to protect the roots.

Food
Feed every four weeks with water in the growing season, reducing to every six in autumn and winter.

Room temperature conditions of 12-26°C are ideal for this plant.

No, this plant is toxic to pets and tiny humans.

The stems and roots of the asparagus fern grow from a tuber at the top of the soil; when multiple of these form, they can be separated to propagate your plant!
