Handmade ceramic planter.

This planter does not have drainage holes but can be used in addition to a plastic planter. All pots are handmade and each one will differ slightly in size and glaze effect.

Ceramics are fired to 1260 degrees and therefore can be microwaved or washed in a dishwasher.

How it is made All ceramics is handmade by Charlotte Manser in her pottery studio in Swindon, Wiltshire. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and is carefully formed over two days. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in my kiln. She then mixes her glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.

While the Kingsdown shop remains open as usual, the new HQ allows Sprouts to grow behind the scenes and offer even better service both in-store and online. This blog post shares the story behind the move, what customers can expect, and how to keep supporting this independent plant shop through the transition.
