A brilliant pair of everyday garden snips – lightweight, precise and perfect for keeping close at hand while you potter around the garden.
Made in a family-run factory in Sanjo, Japan, Niwaki Garden Snips have slender SK-85 steel blades that make it easy to get into tight spaces for careful, precise cuts. The bright red vinyl handles are comfortable to hold and, importantly, much easier to spot when you inevitably put them down somewhere in the garden.
They’re perfect for cutting flowers, harvesting fruit and vegetables, deadheading and trimming fresh green growth. These aren’t a replacement for secateurs though – they’re designed for softer green growth up to 3mm rather than woody stems and branches.
For the cleanest cut, use the base of the blades rather than the tips, and keep the blades clean and dry between uses.
