Every plant is carefully packed by our small, plant-loving Bristol team using protective, mostly plastic-free packaging.
Occasionally, you may find reused bubble wrap – this has been donated to us, and we encourage you to reuse it too.
Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 2–4 working days. We may occasionally delay dispatch during periods of extreme weather to protect your plants. We always prioritise plant health over speed of delivery.

Originally drawn by Hornsea Design Director John Clappison in the 1960s–70s for a playful ceramic design, Nessie has been lovingly redrawn by Magpie from the Hornsea Museum archives. Using authentic colours from the period, this tea towel captures the charm of mid-century British design.
Crafted from 100% cotton and neatly finished with a black ribbon, it makes both a practical kitchen essential and a nostalgic collectable. Hornsea Potteries, founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson, became iconic for their ground-breaking ceramics and characterful illustrations until closing in 2000. Today, Magpie keeps that legacy alive with officially licensed reissues that celebrate the timeless Hornsea style.
